From a professional perspective, I am a chef and a female entrepreneur. I was born in the Faridpur district and grew up studying in the Dhaka district.

I work with various types of desserts and bakery items. Since my childhood, when I was in sixth grade, I have had a passion for cooking. My journey of cooking started with learning from my mother. And the recipe I shared is also a special dessert recipe from my mother.

  1. Firstly, boil some water and add the shredded coconut to it.
  2. Stir for some time and then add flour and stir it continuously until it’s boiled.
  3. Next, take out the dough and mix it while it’s slightly warm.
  4. Then divide the dough into several pieces.
  5. Next, roll out the pieces of dough like a tortilla keeping it 1 inch thick.
  6. Then make some designs using a fork.
  7. Next, cut it into several pieces like barfi.
  8. Then make a sugar syrup using water, sugar, and cardamom.
  9. Next, deep fry the dough pieces using oil.
  10. While the fried sweets are still warm, put them into the cool sugar syrup and keep it for some time.
  11. Then take out the sweets in a serving bowl and it’s ready to serve.
